  Make sure you remove the # in the hex color code.

  Also, I noticed that you shouldn't use dark colors because they are not easy to read so I like 'lime green' or a bright yellow.

  Don't use color code if you are using code words to speed up your guild searches for guild movement.
  
  My players had a hard time finding us because of it so I just made our email address stand out.

  I feel we should give props to TheWalkingDude guild. We saw colors in their guild info first and was all star struck by them. We should have just asked them, but instead googled hex colors, then made a mess of ours a few times before figuring out how to apply them.
