Hate the new challenge ending time

We used to be able to rally a final push if needed for the next guild reward, but now the ending time is awkward for most guild members. I know that's arbitrary based on where most of a guild's members are located, but I was wondering if it were possible noon UTC is not a great ending time for most players? For most of our guild members, the final 3-5 hours used to include a period they'd be available to play if we only needed, say, 300 stars to get to the next guild reward.

- Like being able to start the challenge earlier on Thursday. Gives a few more hours to get farther into things before the weekend which is often busier and harder to play uninterrupted.
- Like that the challenge end time is synced with the survivor trait end time. Yes, there are other ways to resolve this as well, but for now this fix works.
Challenge time hasn't been shortened. I was definitely one who used Monday morning to try to push to a reward level, but this just means we need to manage time differently.
Sarcasm aside, the hourly changeup to times that even more clearly align to edt workaday office hours or school times only serves to further limit participation from those students or workers in the edt regions. Before the obvious world is a big place with many timezones and cant please everyone logic comes up again, let me just say its not something im overly concerned about considering the overwhelming number of more important concerns with this game especially since the last update.
Challenge timing wise, the only constructive input i truly have is to extend the timings to the monday and Tuesdays to allow players the opportunity to play when it is convenient for them to play rather than have to forego spending precious weekend time with their families, loved ones or simply their beds on weekends rather than worrying about gas wastage and lower star counts and letting down their guilds.
btw that whole letting down the guild mentality as the only thing keeping vets playing? Yeah thats a thing. Pay attention ng...

> Perhaps the change was simply made because players were not playing as intended at the intended times, blatantly flaunting this whole ways to play and player choice thing that ng has repeatedly told us they are attempting to bolster in our gaming experience...

That was a pretty good post especially the humor at the beginning and an inescapable truth that NG hasn't connected the dots on. When the number one reason for customer retention is that they don't want to let their guild down and not because they enjoy the game then you have serious long and short term issues. The viability of the company and job security are real issues too.
I used to have a couple hours in the morning with fresh srvrs that healed overnight
@atrainofficial we're practically neighbors
However, since the issue was the complaints about when the class buff ended and not the starting time of the challenge; the logical and correct fix would have been to adjust the class buff/season mission starts to sync with the end of the challenge and not adjust the challenge to meet the class buff times.
Just remember this is NG we are talking about with the same brain trust who also thought it was a brilliant idea to increase hospital healing times just to lower it again. I'm sure their analytical genius thinks adjusting the times of the challenge will somehow spur 24 hour gas sales and that is why the illogical solution was chosen.
I'm from PST and I usually try to make a final push towards the final hours of the early morning for me.
It ending at 8 am was too much to stay up for. Now at 5 am for me is doable ^_^
Also the benefits of switching at the same time as the (survivor buffs changes / events ending / new missions ) makes it all synchronize together better without confusion
Tuesday, on the other hand, is really quite boring with nothing going on (and TG Tuesday doesn't really count).
Morbid Survivors are looking for you! If you are looking for a new guild, PM me.
I know my circumstances are much different from most people though but I figured I'd chime in anyway.
