Midsummer Mayhem community event is beginning! As a community you need to kill over 1 BILLION walkers during the event to reach the amazing final reward: the exclusive GOLDEN Lucille.

Walker kills performed by all players in all missions will be counted towards the total.

Event rewards:

Defeat 500 million walkers - Reward: 25 Bruiser Tokens, 25 Hunter Tokens, 25 Scout Tokens and 1,000 Trade Goods
Defeat 750 million walkers - Reward: 50 Bruiser Tokens, 50 Hunter Tokens, 50 Scout Tokens and 2,500 Trade Goods
Defeat 1 BILLION walkers - Reward: 75 Bruiser Tokens, 75 Hunter Tokens, 75 Scout Tokens, 3,500 Trade Goods and an exclusive Epic Golden Lucille!

We will update the kill count in the in-game news section every day. The event ends on Wednesday, June 28, at 12 PM UTC.

Join the community in order to reach the highest reward!

    In the video it's shown as legendary. I want to prevent disappointment and anger for leveling a bruiser.

    I hate it when the weapons are gold in color. I get all excited for a moment, then realize that, no, it's a green.

    Don't worry though the extra exclusive golden legendary unicorn wizard Lucille with retractable claws and chainsaw action will be available in the new luxury shop for a small fee of $39.99, did you get all that? But wait there is more! For the next 3 months take pride in pleasure in bashing Walker skulls to ground beef patties and then guess what guys!? We offer you a new one!!!!!!!!!! With an additional 350 damage for a small fee of 5+million XP. Yeah guys!!!!!!! Doesn't that sound amazing?

    Thanks for another community event. They do help keep things fresh, and are appreciated.

    The tokens and TGs are definitely worth playing for, but Epic weapon is already on the 'pending scrap' list ... :(

    Recieve tokens and and exclusive sub 10k xp.

    Smh. Back in the day i was much more enthused for community events because the weapon rewards were something i would use. This one will sit in my inventory and gather dust as a reminder of former glories or be scrapped in disgust immediately.

    According to @Teeceezy "Coming Soon" Post from March it should have Silver Skull, Silver Concussion and Gold Luck. The reduced dmg doesn't matter for bruiser as their purpose is only to stun. So that means I will use that epic blue Lucille if I don't find anything better..
    Same for the Epic Golden Rifle, as I didn't found anything better I am using it.

    @Teeceezy These events are nice when the rewards are especially useful. Will the Lucille be level 22? I haven't upgraded a Bruiser yet, but this weapon would be a nice one to have when I do.

    The level of Golden Lucille will depend on the highest level Bruiser you have. @Akartiki

    Yup yup predictable as always from epic fails in the past. Lets see how many folk rush to get a bruiser up to 22 in time so that they can at least get the reward at a proper level to make it worthwhile. Then lets subtract all the other people who will not simply because that would mean one of the maximum of two survs they level to 22 to maintain their challenge rsls would have to be a bruiser...

    Do the math for real ng. It'll be a negative number. Much like the reviews of recent updates... coincidence? I think not.

    Indeed there are! And many of them may enjoy looking at their epic golden lucille at say lvl 16 in their inventories if they decide to keep it around after they outgrow it. I know i like looking at my legendary original lucille in my inventory from time to time. Its lvl 16 too. Didnt get used, didnt get upgraded, completely useless now.... but its pretty to look at.

    Look at. Not use.

    Agree on that. Offered free gear can't be adjusted only to pleased top level ppl. I'm sure they already have plenty of good gear ;) even with better traits.
