Was this stated somewhere by am admin or are you just predicting the answer?
I received answer from one of the NG team

Someday? What a total BS and lack of respect. They cant even make a public statement about bugs so we have to figure it own on our own, yet again.
  • zerosouLzerosouL Member Posts: 190
I wonder how its even possible to implement bugs after bugs after bugs. Maybe they do it on purpose so we can have additional content to discover on our own.

@Teeceezy @Shteevie @Fearofabotplanet Any word on when you'll fix the bugs of a new trait?

@Captainslayer maybe it's working as intended was the message but they are afraid to pass it on

The ng building must be huge and they must have a lot of devs if it's taking this long for the answer

Maybe, a lot of devs acc to take care a lot of players acc. Who knows? B)

@Gindy I thought I was crazy when I first saw it. Perhaps my revenge shooter had an action point left. Purposely set this situation up to test it. I'm still crazy, but not because of this.

Same happened to me. Freemen are considered allies obviously

Another hilarious situation. My hunters revenge triggered on freemens bruiser when he attacked a walker. ROTFL

You never know whats gonna be the outcome with this new trait :sunglasses:

Like @zerosouL, I had my shooter's revenge trait activate when the raider's scout attacked a walker. What's that old saying, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"? Is the walker my friend? No. Ally? Apparently...

This trait is bugged in so many ways i dont believe it was tested at all prior to the update rollout.

@JackBauer yeah both have revenge. Here's their trait pics if you couldn't catch it during the beginning

Still no response or statement about the bugs from NG :) I guess all their effort goes to the nazi ads on iOS.

From another thread where there were some words said about the revenge and punish bugs:
    Teeceezy said:

A good majority of bugs are in the code which means that a release is required in order to fix them.

So, they are well aware that this is not working as intended, and instead of addressing the issue or telling folks that it is being looked into and might or might not be addressed in a future update (next one, one after next, the one after that)... *crickets*

Looking into this. Also @sbf don't take things I say out of context. That comment did not in any way refer to this issue.

Apologies for the delay in figuring out what's possibly broken with the trait. Long holiday weekend here in Finland.
  • sbfsbf Member Posts: 466
@Teeceezy The context was that I asked you about the bugs from this update, specifically referring to the revenge and punish traits, and your answer addressed the bugs that I mentioned (revenge and punish traits), saying that it would not be addressed until at the very least the next update. Not sure how anything I said was lacking context.

@sbf Ah, sorry about that, seems I got confused. If there is something that's broken with this trait (in addition to the Freemen triggering the trait), it's more than likely to be in the code so it will need a client update in order to fix.

Hope this isn't too much off-topic but don't the survivors always defend freemen? I noticed on prison rails that my overwatch shooters consistently "saved" freemen from walkers.
