System generated auto move

Is there any difference for damage or making critical hits if you move your survivor to do an attack by yourself (pic 2) or let the system move him to the farest point (pic 1)? I hope the two pics explain what I mean?!

    i believe theres a difference shooting from a standstill or having to move one grid. im waiting for this explanation myself

    To both questions no.
    Why there should be any difference?
    In the end it's the same move and attack.

    Thanks for your assumption, @David_H79 . But I'd prefer a proven answer by a member of the developer team! ;)

    The point is that we (the player) have to find out in so many situation about game mechanism by ourselves. In this situation we do not have any chance to find it out, bc we can not "replay" the same situation. Therfore I'd would like to have a concrete reply from the developer.
    It's the same as this situation I wonder in this thread

    Does it make any difference whether you move the survivor yourself, or else let the system auto-move you as part of your attack, for the question of whether power strike activates?
