When the map starts and the 3 Freeman are lined up like reverse bowling pins, I hit them once with assault then hit the 2 on the right with a hunter. Then the last one standing at that point, on the left, I hit with my other hunter and those 3 are dead. No hits on me.
Then I creep 1 space at a time to the right until I see one. Then all 3 of my toons are in over watch. 1 Freeman rushes in but doesn’t make it. Dead! The next one rushed in but didn’t have enough spaces to get to me. So I get 3 attacks on him. Dead! Map over. I’ve only seen one glitch with a warrior Freeman. He moved, stopped, then moved again and whacked me good. It looked like 2 turns. But the trick is, don’t move behind the hay bails on the first move anymore. Especially when there’s 3 Freeman standing in front of you,
At higher lvl Freeman than me, when I’m at my wall, Dodge is nice to have. The bruisers can get a hit or 2 before you can put them down that easily. But above mentioned will get you through until you get sucked into the Pink Floyd wormhole and hit “The Wall”.

The problem is that doesn't work when they are 8 levels over you. That is where the hay came in handy. Now I guess the only handy thing we have is a twat stick. Twat handy stick? Idk, I may not understand the vernacular, twat is familiar, just not as a weapon. Friggin libs.
In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us.
I'm leading with Morgan, (since some hits will be innevitable so I'll probably gain some charge points), an 8 star bruiser with Punish and Morgan's staff, and lastly a scout with the recent rare pitchfork.
Use the hollow beside the truck on the bottom left of the start position to put my scout against the left of the map, and my two bruisers walled up in front.
Overwatch, and let the Freemen rush me. Usually, i hit with all 3 survivors thanks to the pitchfork's long reach, ( and my scout's power strike adds up dmg nicely.) If needed and available, I use my bruiser's charges. This opening position works no matter the Freemen's starting spots.
After the first wave, i just inch upward past the barrel, with my elite bruiser on point. Wait for the attacks, and keep my group tight. Try to block the warrior from flanking you. They all fall in no time.
I should also mention my bruisers are decked out with health and dmg reduction badges, so i can take a lot of scrapes and scratches without taking significant damage.
Those Freemen on Museum just want to spoil all our fun. We're having a good time, taking some shots when we can, and now they have to rush in on us and smack us down.
I follow the same strategy outlined above, except I use a shooter with charging and gold range instead of a second hunter. That guy is very useful for mopping up the remaining Freemen. However, eventually one of the bowling pin Freemen won't die. Assault will leave some green on one but put the other two to red. Then hunter will take the green one to red and kill another. And shooter will kill the third.
That's not a problem for a while, because my point man is the assault with some health and damage resistance badges. So he takes a hit and the shooter's revenge picks up the spare (bowling metaphor). But the damage to the assault won't be enough for a bruise for a while.
Once it is, then I switch the team entirely to melee. This is the first time with this challenge that I've had Michonne available, and Michonne with two bruisers is working well so far. Overwatch stuns, punish trait, Michonne's leader trait, and bruiser week add up to a fearsome force.
Obviously once the Freemen hit high enough level my bruisers will get body shots and I'll need to adapt or else lose a star.

@Pig I don't let the Freemen get to me... NG will straighten them out sooner or later.

Your glass is half full but my tin cup is half empty and clanging against the bars.
I do hope the Freemen get off the PCP or whatever they're on. Is PCP still a thing, or am I 30 years out of date? Anyway, if my survivors could move like Freemen I'd get 2000 stars a week.

I have been seeing twats pop up all over the place. I just beat them off with my twat stick.

But even with that, the bruiser/scout/shooter combo with interrupt weapons still gets me through this map without too much trouble.
LMAO, Commentary was great! Twats are friggin brutal now.
On topic: I figure we are all seeing twats, sorry freemen with super dematerialising, pop up out of nowhere powers?
It wasn’t “how you speak” it was the overall commentary that I enjoyed. You nailed it my friend!
Edit: So is everyone else seeing the twats (freemen) going all mystic on them?
As we all should. Keep it up!
