I guess it's a matter of personal preference, but I would not continue leveling.
Revenge on an assault is poor due to the inherently low damage numbers for the class.
Defensive stance only activates when in over-watch and does not directly add with iron skin / damage reduction badges - it is more like a percent multiplier. And while in over-watch, you target a single walker at 50% of normal damage with occasional collateral damage. I know many are keen on a defensive assault having this trait, but they almost unanimously require it to be paired with the iron skin trait and enough damage reduction badges to get near the cap.
My preference for an assault is lucky, marksman, sure-shot, dodge, iron skin. Good armor with iron skin + stun resist + dodge/health. Three damage reduction badges, two percent damage boost badges, and a health boost badge. Can take down +4/5 with one shot, and can take 2-3 hits from +4/5 without bruising
Her damage below is high enough to be able to hang with my hunters so she's not out of balance on the tougher maps. Can kill walkers and get charged up. Also has sufficient damage reduction/health to take hits. I think with Defensive Stance you'd want some combo like Dodge, Marksman, Iron Skin, Vigilant and Def Stance. That would be a really good defensive combo with complementary traits. I also agree that Revenge (much like Ruthless) isn't a great trait for an Assault.
This is my guy - rolls though 28/29 normals like a lawn mower, and more than holds his own on 30's But my badges are not as good as @Cronus - how many goats did you have to sacrifice to get that leg damage reduction badge?
That damage reduction badge was the first one I ever crafted with the original stuff we were given. I had no idea what I had. I went months and months without assigning any badges cause it was too complicated to figure it all out. Now I have 4 tabs on a spreadsheet to track, sort and arrange them.
I agree with the @The_Jer minus I dont care for sure shot on my assault class, rather have defensive stance, I seem to move my assault around to much for sure shot to be really useful

100% agree with you. Also not a fan of revenge in assualts because of their limited range.
