    Can't disagree with you that rewards should scale with the costs, at least to some degree. Every game makes it harder for higher levels to advance further but NML takes that to the next level.

    And I do hope that some of the players who should be able to get 850 but just don't or those who are close and strive to get there will be able to make it.

    However, the participation trophy comment... Well, let me put it like this: for endgamers, 40 summer tokens at 850 stars is a participation trophy.

    Yet I have seen no one ask for the threshold to be based on the individual player level - except for @anniesprinkles in the very first post.

    See how this kind of cuts both ways? ;)

    Mind you, this has nothing to do with rewards scaling to player levels. I also don't wanna see 9 Eugene tokens in a high star challenge token crate (or actually anywhere for that matter), and 5 tokens from the dailies is a drop of water on a hot stone.

    Summer tokens are a little different from other tokens, though.

    I think no one would have said anything if the extra at 850 would have been something you can get elsewhere in the game without spending anything on it (except for time). But summer tokens lead to a unique reward (though we don't know, of course, if it will remain unique) and people want to feel like they have a chance.

    Only fair thing would have been a level based threshold (though maybe not feasible) or everyone getting the "participation trophy", not just the "old" dudes and dudettes.

    What happened there? I have seen this sometimes with the > instead of properly formatted quotes and always wondered what causes this. That's really hard to read...

    I thought it was a bit annoying that we didn't get any RPG tokens after 700 stars. I generally earn between 1300 and 1400 on the weekly mission. Getting the extra stars at 850 was a bonus. Honestly, they should give a little taste at 1000 and 1250 stars as well.

    I don't think lower level players who can't get 850 should complain as these are extra bonus tokens. It just means they'll have to play longer to get the RPG.....and there's nothing wrong with that IMO.

    Wow I'm pleasantly surprised. I hit over 850 but couldn't have done it without the no bodyshots and even the badge event. It was my first real badge crafting and I got to make my main lineup significantly stronger. Thanks for the awesome event NG! :smiley:

    I got the tokens too. Highest previously was 785-ish, but managed to get to 869 thanks to no bodyshots :smiley:

    835 on my lowest account. Got 3 stars on 3 of the maps, get killed on the others. Damn frustrating.

    Highest before that has been 685 but I leveled up during the challenge. Not enough to make it, though - and most of our players who were concerned they would not be able to make it were not able to make it.

    I'm at 1033 on that account now, 1139 on the lower one where I made it (and did one normal Distance reset).

    Hope those who think it means just getting the RPG a bit later are right.
