With every building lvl upgrading cost is increased by 30% but farm production is barely 5%

So what are the stopping levels for buildings?
    Lvl 7 for the tents
    Lvl 7 for the farms
    What else?

So does anyone have an opinion for what it the perfect stopping level for the buildings?

The best is maximum I believe. I stopped on farm lvl 9. Now I prefer to upgrade other buildings.. If you have spare supplies then go on with farms as well.

I understand everyone is going to say "max them out"
but at what point does it not make sense to go any higher....
There is a lot of conversations regarding cost vs benefit, so I was wanting to know what these people think is the "sweet spot" for upgrading buildings.

  • @xxMichaelxx it really depends, i believe more production is more, yes it takes a while to recoup from the expenditure, but as you level up you get better quantities out of the mission boxes, and if they ever adjust production amounts, then you will be even farther ahead

I currently have my Council and Training facilities maxed out and am currently grinding food to max my Radio Tower. Here's what my strategy is, and will be, going into the future.

You always want to max out your Council and Training Grounds ASAP.

From there, I try to max out my Radio Tower for any weekend events where I use Radio Calls.

After that, max out your Workshop. I don't max out the Workshop as fast since you never know when you'll get new equipment and stop upgrading equipment you already have. Also, I get equipment more often than survivors, so the equipment that I want to upgrade is constantly changing.

You may want to upgrade your Mission Car before the Workshop (or even the Radio Tower). It's a matter of personal preference. I will upgrade the Mission car as long as a building of "higher priority" can't be upgraded. (I'm currently at Level 7 Mission car (19 gas capacity)...so I would like it to be higher (not sure the max level allowed), but I'd rather upgrade my Council, Training Grounds, and Radio Tower first. Currently, I still have 2 upgrades needed on the Workshop before I max it out, so I have neglected it a bit since two levels were added close to one another.

Sometimes you are "forced" to upgrade your Storage Supply buildings since you won't be able to store the number of supplies needed for the higher priority upgrades. I would only upgrade the Storage Supply buildings after you have everything else (higher on this list) maxed out. Otherwise, don't upgrade it as long as you can store enough food, unless you want to get a jump start on the next levels. I don't buy bundles that max resources, so that aspect of upgrading these buildings never crossed my mind.

As for the Hospital, I upgraded it to Level 6 because that's when you can heal 3 survivors at one time. It took me a long time to get to Level 6 since I prioritized the buildings higher on this list.

After I have my Storage Supply buildings maxed, then I will max out my Farms first, then tents. But I probably won't try to max these out or upgrade them further until my supplies are maxed out. That way, I will continue to earn food and still have a "reserve" leftover for an update that may be right around the corner.

My last priority will be Outpost buildings. I got both the Outpost Building and Walker Pit to level 3 pretty quick, but I don't see the benefit of upgrading them before everything else. Sure, the 7500 goods for Legendary Equipment is pretty cool, but that equipment is better served when you reach a very high level and can ensure you won't "outgrow" the equipment in the immediate future.

Hope this helps as a guide of sorts. Not saying it's the best way, but it's the way I think is a good map.
