Guild Wars Beta Season 3

G'day survivors
With the sign-up for the first war of Guild Wars Season 3 started today, there have been some questions regarding the map, rewards, the shop, etc.
Below is an overview of the changes related to the GW economy and map.

Design and Format changes

With the sign-up for the first war of Guild Wars Season 3 started today, there have been some questions regarding the map, rewards, the shop, etc.
Below is an overview of the changes related to the GW economy and map.
- The minimum RP reward from missions increased from 10 to 15
- RP scales directly with the mission difficulty offset of the mission at a rate of 1 to 1, i.e., a mission with a 0 offset gives 15 RP, offset +5 gives 20 RP. After mission with an offset of +15 or more, RP scales by +2 per difficulty
- RP sector bonuses scales by +10 with each "column" on the map, i.e. the 2-A sector bonus is 30 and the 3-A is 40, up to 70 RP in the final column (6)
- Guild shop prices remain unchanged
- Sector VP bonuses increased
- VP rewards for completing missions slightly downscaled.
- VP requirement for tiers adjusted
- Shortcut sectors added in the middle of the map (Sectors 4D and 4G) - they are unlocked from the beginning of the battle
- More sectors added

Design and Format changes
- GW season duration reduced from 8 weeks to 4 weeks.
- The number of days in a war has been reduced from 8 to 6 days.
- Battles will run from Tuesday to Sunday
- Registration opens on Monday morning (UTC) instead of Friday.
- The number of participants increased from 3-5 to 3-10 players.
- Number of attacks reduced from 25 to 18
- Number of battles per player remains the same
- Warplanner now displays the days of the battles with UTC time, instead of date.
- GW matchmaking changed. Previously, the two factors taken into account when matchmaking were guild tier and the levels inside the guild. Now, matchmaking will no longer take into account the levels, but instead, the two main factors will be guild tier and the number of registered participants.
- Enemies and objectives in Guild Wars missions have been rebalanced
- Minimum level of missions in Guild Wars is now starting from 12 (if your characters are level 12 or higher, this change does not affect you)
- Upgraded level of equipment is also taken into account for Guild Wars missions offset calculations
- Number of opponents inside a sector increased from 3 to 4, so the number of missions inside the sectors also increased from 9 to 12 (from 6 to 8 in bonus sectors).
- The number of remaining Attacks of each teammate will be displayed on the scoreboard during the battle.
- Mission objectives will now be shown before entering the mission.

4G sector? Is there a new branch? Before it was up to "F"
Can you share the battle map overview to see the branching (path)?
Also the VP rework per misssion heavily reduced the profitability of stacking/doubling.
I know it's said matchmaking will look into guild rank and number of players signed, but still can happen that there are not enough options... so are we risking if going out there with less then 10?

I really like the decrease in number of fights since guild wars took too long.
And I like the increase of Reward Points for more difficult fights. It makes it more rewarding to actually do more difficult fights.

> @Fluxxx don't mind me asking, but what are the chances if you enter battle with 7 players, matchmaking put you against team with 8?

Very interested in this answer because it would mean dump all 10 players into first days or split them up between the 6

@Pic @Karajoca there's actually updated FAQs in the game about this now, this is the one regarding matchmaking:
How does Guild Wars matchmaking work?
Guild Wars Matchmaking takes into account two factors: your Guild’s Tier, and the number of participants in the battle from your guild.
Here's a breakdown:
1. Matchmaking will prioritize finding you a match with the same number of participants in the same tier.
2. If a guild with the same number of participants isn't found in your tier, the search will be expanded to look for a guild with ±1 participants.
3. If the matchmaking still fails to find you an opponent, the search will look for an opponent in the tier below. Since in this case your guild would be matched against a lower tier guild, the opponent can have up to 2 more participants than your team.
I don't quite get what this means @Fluxxx
Able to elaborate more by using one sector as example?
But it seems we don't have any info on victory points yet, except that they are less than before?
If you complete a difficulty 27 mission, the RP reward is 15 RP.
If you complete a difficulty 29 mission, the RP reward is 17 RP.
The reason Fluxxx uses the "offset" terminology is that the map's initial difficulty scales off your survivors (or overleveled weapons), so the relatively difficulty and RP rewards will be the same for everyone for completing the same mission even though the actual difficulty of that level might be different.
Will there be walker spawn increases to the walker level this week in GW? Because this past week’s challenge had it. And in the supply mission It went up to 60+. Don’t remember that being in any announcements.
How can it be such an unbalanced matching when all the guilds are in the same tier?

My friend's guild is 10 vs 5

In 4D there are 8 missions.
In 4G there are 12 missions as normally.
Is that a bug or a feature?
Plus it looks like the mission description is messed up there in 4D. There was Kill All in description so a friend took the Kill All squad and it appeared to be kill 8 zombies with spawns.
Before we all go full throttle and use our keys, is NG going to stop the current war to sort these issues out? Should we all hold off for now?
