@Fluxxx I know we'll find out tomorrow either way but in others post you've been asked about how the reroll will work and the costs, if you could give us a breakdown of that info would be appreciated. If we reroll a badge with trait bonus, will randomly change to other trait bonus or will have in count the whole pool of options class / hero / traits or how that will work? How the costs scale? Guess we can assume that if we try to reroll the slot and set and we don't get the one we want and reroll again we can receive the one that we started with, example we're in slot 1, reroll go to slot 4, we reroll again and we could end in slot 1 (because is part of the pool of options in your 2nd try), correct?
There are many possible bonus badge conditions, given the number of heroes. If the reroll for the bonus conditions allows the heroes, then it will be almost a waste of time to reroll badge conditions.
Hopefully, NG limited the badge bonus condition rerolls to traits only. This would make the bonus rerolls similar in chances to the set and slot rerolls. Without limiting it to traits, or more choices after bonus condition rerolls, not many players will bother with bonus condition rerolls.
@Fluxxx Please enlighten us more on the badge rerolls.
5 badge shapes/sets 6 badge slots (odds and evens) Far more bonus groups than anyone should play around with.
Because only trait bonuses make the badges unicorns, it's not worth throwing away reroll tokens on this. Will rerolling a bonus to a nonbonus increase the numeric value as it is supposed to? I'm not going to test this. Avoid it! Rerolling bonuses will probably prove to be a total waste of tokens.
As for rerolling for 1 in 4 shape/set and rerolling for 1 in 5 slot, this will be helpful when a player has double or even triplicate of specific unicorn badges for both set and slot.
If players are allowed to pick from two options, and declining both options returns half tokens (just like reroll system with hero tokens and traits), then this will be a useful system. If it's entirely random and there is no choice, this should be a little used system. It will fail players more than help them.
If you can’t reroll a badge with no bonus condition, I guess you can’t receive a no bonus after the reroll. Or @Fluxxx is in the cast of the next Despicable Me. 😀
You can reroll to any bonus condition to any other bonus condition (trait, hero, class).
Something that I didn't mention, is that Badge Rerolls don't work exactly like Trait rerolls - Once you reroll a badge part (slot/set/condition), you don't have to option to keep the old or take the new, the change just happens right away - Essentially the way it works in the game, is that when you reroll a badge, you're creating a brand new badge (though the unrerolled parts stay the same). Of course, you won't get what you just rerolled again, but other than that the options are not limited.

guess: if you reroll the flat badge, will it become a percentage?
@Fluxxx Any chance to transfer (reroll) flat badges into percentage badges in the future? Or Scrap badges for a single component (same rarity) instead of low amount of XP?

Wow, great question. Didn't even think about all of the crappy flat badges I've hoarded.

The reroll of the badge condition is nearly unusable then. A player is unlikely to use reroll tokens to reroll a badge condition when they are so many potential outcomes that don't improve their situation. There's just too small chance the condition would improve to something useful for them.
Rerolling the set gives you a 1 in 4 chance of something useful. Not great, but at least it's a 25% chance. If there is no pattern to the rerolls and you can regularly get the same set over and over again, all badge rerolls will not that usable in general.
Players reroll with a specific goal in mind. They don't reroll just in the hope they get something better. This is another case where NG could have saved some development effort by talking to an experienced player before they did some work.
That's the best ROI, changing from an even to an odd or vice versa, 50% chance to succeed. For a specific slot, set, or bonus, I agree there are going to be too many chances for no improvement, and unless the cost is only a few tokens, it will just be prohibitively expensive to fix badges this way.
Fluxxx has already mentioned in this thread that it is not possible to roll the type of badge, only the set, spot and bonus.
yeah but also he mentioned that when you reroll it created new brand badge but now we can't create brand new flat badge so my guess was it can be rerolled in to percentage.
I suggested NG to go this way. But there was no casino in my system. I developed a table that made it possible to make the icons the way the player wants. I did this to help the game develop. I wanted more people to play this game. But people often leave after they have very bad ones instead of good ones. I also suggested changing the slot and position of the icon for gold. It could also help the game and the players.
Also you need 15 tokens to reroll first time. 2nd time you need 20 tokens.
Why the hell so much tokens? I hate it! I rerolled a DR Badge with shooter condition, cost 15 tokens and i got hunter condition. Great job to burn tokens. Thank you for nothing!

Can you read dude? I heard reading the patchnotes helps omg. It was clear that the amount of reroll token you need is increasing. And starting with 15 is less then you could have expected.
The problem right now is that changing Set or Slot is also changing the Bonus.

Raising costs is not my problem dude! Yes i read the notes! I hoped it's start by 5 and then raise by 1 or 2 per roll. Not starting by 15 and raise by 5 per roll. Your problem can be fixed with an update. My problem will stay the same! Dude!

I´m with you. The costs are way to high.
Let´s hope we get some reroll tokens in the after mission crates instead of the 1, 2 and 3* rubbish.

Do you have a video of this? We'll going to look into this right away.
Will the droprate on reroll tokens increase in any way?
Otherwise I won´t reroll any badge for sure. Won´t wasting my tokens as I have to reroll a lot of heros as well.
