Heros and Heros

in General No Man's Land Discussion
There are regular heros, like Daryl, Maggie Rhee, Morgan… and there are heros with the red rectangular box on the upper left corner, Hilltop Maggie, SurvivalistRick …  What’s the difference?  Is there one?

    They are so called Alt Heroes, i.e. the same person as an already existing hero but of a different class. From a game perspective they are not any different.

    Yeah, if you have a badge that gives a bonus for Glenn, you can run with Pizza Guy Glenn (PGG) and/or Riot Gear Glenn (RGG) and still get the bonus. Plus, when you have a Daily Quest that is Kill 25 Walkers with Rick, you can use Shooter Rick and Scout Rick to clear the quest. The game recognizes the alt hero as the same as the original hero.

    Except for Morgan, the alt heroes are always better for beating higher level enemies.
