Thanks, I tried this as well, as well as several other iterations, but for me, once my game is restored, and I kill the app, it will not start up. My only option to play at this point is to delete, re-install, restore game, then it will let me play for a bit - so I may do that later - but we need the fix...
Where is communication from NG? This is what frustrates people across all industries. People can tolerate screw-ups, screw overs, etc. Lack of communication breaks companies and revenue.
Question when you reinstall how to you remove it. When I select the app I have the option to delete the app. Is this the way to do it?
Yeah. Just make sure your game is saved in the Gamecenter. You’ll be prompted after the game loads and the demo mode completes to reload with the Screen Name and Level you saved. Good luck!

Didn't do anything for me on my device running ipadOS, sorry. My notifications were already switched off, and the game is still stuck at "killing walkers". Switching the ipad off an back on and changing notifications from off to on also did not help one bit.
Summarising this thread: several users reporting the issue. No work around seems to alleviate the problem. Users reporting the issue via the Next Games support get a standard reply: "we're working on it". No solution as of yet by Next Games. Does that sum it up...?

I don't know how much testing you do before release but I see a few issues on updates.
If you need testers let me know, I have been in IT for years, have multiple devices etc and dont want anything to help. would just like working updates not like the week when I spend a lot of time get online and lose rewards because things dont work/
Eventually, I had an email back off support. Yes the update has affected iOS users. I did the usual uninstall etc etc.. I can get on game intermittently, so when I do, I stay on as long as I can.. Following all the idea's that everyone has given thanks guys.. I even went into a room with bad wifi and tried loading the game. When I took another screenshot of the black screen, the game loaded I have faith that the devs are looking into this.. Well done guys.. But seriously these things should not happen in this day and age. A little testing goes a long way..

If your stuck on the killing walkers bit you need to reinstall the game. The notification off bit is for a different bug that causes the game to crash on the black next game screen.

Re-install The Walking Dead: No Man's Land
Go to your Device Settings, Notifications and then turn OFF all notifications for the game completely (make sure you do not have the game open at the same time)

You say you couldn’t find it during testing, what were you testing on? If you test in a iOS device then you would have notifications and would have seen the issue
i already offered to test. And for free! So please tell me what did your use to test the game on for iOS?
I have the same problem. I can't enter the game. I uninstalled it and installed it again and is the same. The game doesn't load. I can't play since yesterday after the update. How do they know to compensate me if I can't enter the game and send a ticket?
