After update, game will not load

Hey there, I play on the newest iPad Air. Never had a problem. After I updated today the game will not load. When I try to load the app will sometimes disappear or when it does start to load the loading bar goes so far then stops. All other apps on my iPad works great but the game. Any solutions would be great. Thanks.

    I am also using an Apple IPhone and have had trouble with the app. It would crash after I used a grenade etc. now the game won’t load at all. Is there something I need to do?

    @dawnib did you update the game?  There's a hotfix that was released today.

    I’m having the same issue. Game won’t load today I was able to update the game and played right after the update. Today the game won’t load. Gets to the point of killing walkers and won’t progress any further.

    Hello,
    I need help, after update the game will not load.
    I haven't had this problem with updated the game for years.
    Using an Iphone 7  with iOS 15.3.1
    It freezes at the Killing Walkers startup screen. It actually locked up my iphone a couple of times.
    I deleted and reinstalled and now it opens but as a beginner, not as my last saved status on game centre. Game centre shows my achievements but not a way to reinstall at my saved level.
    How can I recover my game at current levels?
    I can't access in game gear for help because it says on the newly installed version I am not registered.
    Please assist as soon as you can.

    try to logout of Game Center and log back in, if that doesn’t restore the game then it’s a lost game and only support can help please use the in game support request to contact support.

    Hi, I tried logging out and back into game center but it didn’t resolve the issue. I sent support ticket in but no reply. I sent all info i have to support but i don’t remember my player level because i wasn’t expecting to lose my game. Been playing since the beginning, 6-7 years. Level was high

    I had a similar issue from one of the previous game update.  What resolved it for me was to delete and reinstall the game using the original Apple ID that I used on the account I wanted to restore.  I think that the game tracks you based on the Apple ID you used to originally install the game.  Also, log into the Game Center using the same ID as the game account you're trying to install.  Afterwards, restore from the Settings menu in the game.  Hope it works out for you.

    Hi its been a week and I still gave had no response after contacting support. I still can’t retrieve my game account since the update. Still cannot play. Trying to be patient but even an acknowledgement that they are working on it would be nice. Thanks

    Submitted support ticket last Friday and again last Sunday. In game name is Rusty Nail, Guild is the killjoys

    Hello, i keep checking both of my email addresses and so far I have no response from support in either of them. Not in spam etc. I know my email works because the link to reset me forum password was sent there on Feb 12, 2022.

    Okay I am completely lost.
    I loaded the game and clicked on the gear icon, help and there are no notifications to be found.
    Also I have check me email again thoroughly:spam,junk,all folders and there are no support emails.
    I know it is working because i have email from Next Games regarding forum login pword change and also recent request from thread I follow on forum regarding joining a guild.
    Can you please send me message via forum to show me what email address you are using?

    I received one response from Dan with support. 🙌 I followed instructions. Deleted and reinstalled the game. Signed out and then signed back into Game Center, 
    i still haven’t beem able to play or try to connect to my saved game. Every time I open the game it gets stuck at Gathering Supplies. 
    Any ideas how to get it to open?

    Yeah hurrah!! I finally have my game back at level 75 
    I thank everyone who helped and also I thank you all for your patience. I downloaded today’s newest update and all is well.
