    A lot to unpack here...

I'm really excited about Hershel, I think his leader trait looks great and weaken is a good way to possibly get melee back in the mix. As far as Tyreese goes, I think he should've been a scout and he's just gonna turn into another Beth but we'll see.

The Michonne reskin looks awesome and so does the scoped crossbow. I'm interested to see if the crossbow becomes a great weapon or another benchwarmer like the pulverizer but I'm hopeful.

I'm also curious to see if the new support acts as a pile of gore where you can't attack or if you can attack and still be cloaked.

These are just some of my initial thoughts after watching the sneak peek

I’m thinking Tyreese will be way better than Beth since warriors are easier to charge and the damage will be far greater since all walkers standing in the debuff area will take a % of total health like fire damage.

Another Idea for Beth would be to let her benefit from her buff when she activates it with her Charge Attack. Like how melee will immediately benefit from weakening when inflicting the status effect.

The scoped crossbow is silent like the harpoon, charged attack has shorter range than the harpoon but cripples "all the enemys?" ALL ???

Some good stuff, however I can't help but think that maybe the new LTs should've been switched.

There are ranged Heroes, Rosita and Alpha, that can already attack and get a movement without killing, but there are no melee Heroes that can do that. Tyrese with "Good Enough" could've been that hero. Also since ranged attacks get no benefit from attacking weakened enemies it just doesn't make that much sense on Hershel.

"Made to Suffer" would've been better on a ranged Hero (but can affect Melee and Ranged teammates), because you would have more control of which enemy you want to inflict the debuff zone on.

I'm sure both Heroes will still be good, I just think this way would've made a little more sense.

I don't get the scoped crossbow.  Seems to be a down graded version of the Winter Harpoon, cripple instead of root and one less space on the charge attack.  It is scoped logic would seems to say it should have greater range not less?  What am I missing?

Agreed. I think I would prefer a Charge attack with unlimited range (like Starbound) and Cripples all targets, it wouldn't have to be a bonus attack in this case.

    Edit:

You know what, I think if one of the traits for the Scoped Crossbow is Ensnare then that would be interesting. A silent weapon that can pin enemies on regular attacks can be a great way to support melee survivors. I think this would put it ahead of the Winter Harpoon, because you will likely root at least one target and then cripple everyone else you hit with the charge attack.

It will be interesting to see if and where anyone makes room for Weakening (Trait)

There's a lot of good traits or there now so it gets harder to choose. Which is a good thing IMO.

(I always hated it in the scout Rick days when all players had the same traits across-the-board)

Does anything jump out to you as an early contender for who/where to try this out first?

I can’t decide if I think it’s for scouts to set bruiser/warriors up for stunning. Or if it’s for bruiser/warriors to set scouts up for max damage

It’s also interesting because all melee benefits from the weakened debuff regardless of who inflicted it. So you don’t want weakening on all your melee heroes. I’m thinking both Perseverance and Weakening on Tyreese and Beth to help keep their leader traits active. Weakening on Carol since it synergizes well with her LT. And for the rest of the melee heroes it comes down to your own preferences.

Honestly I'll probably use my regular survivors before I switch out any Heroes same as i did with Perseverance. But off the top of my head I'll probably end up putting it on Ezekiel. He doesn't need power to be super useful. Some bruisers also for Dodge.

I hadn’t thought of doing this. Thanks, I reckon I’ll do this too

    I'm going with:

    Gold Piercing
    Gold Ensnare
    Silver Wide Bore/Lucky
My reasoning why is in my last post above. Also it would be great for GC.

I hope the Origins II missions include Abe and the Governor so we can use the 1-gas missions to clear the daily quests where we need to use them. That's been a huge oversight in game play IMO. They even put the Governor on the "cover" of the Welcome to Woodbury "highlights" season, yet he's no where to be seen in the missions.

As for Rufus, we'll always curse him when the daily quest comes up and we have to use him. I'll take him on 2-gas Outpost raids along with Abe and the Governor when their turn comes up.
Especially the first time the Prison was attacked by Woodbury!!! That for sure should have been included as a mission where he was playable!!!!

    Hershel's LT - good enough:
    - chance of gaining a charge point is missing in patch notes
    Weakening:
    - turns and chance of gaining a charge point is always 1 / 75%. So you can write it down in trait description

Sounds like very decent update. Let's hope also for being bug-free :)
Hero outfits is really cool feature which hasn't been used as it could be so far.
