Guild Wars issues and next steps ⚔️

A little over a month ago with the release of 5.1, we did a couple of changes to fix the Guild Wars reload issue that took players out the mission, thus losing attacks. After that we have been hard at work reviewing player feedback, internal data, and gameplay reported bugs to help direct our next decisions. Your feedback continues to be a core component in the development of the game after all.

After that we have been hard at work reviewing player feedback, internal data, and gameplay reported bugs to help direct our next decisions. Your feedback continues to be a core component in the development of the game after all.
However, due to several unforeseen issues that have occurred recently, we have decided to roll back the changes implemented to Guild Wars since the 5.1 release. The roll back aims to mitigate the negative experiences during the last half of the Guild Wars season.
We're currently testing this roll back, and testing to see if we can release it during the Guild Wars break (week 35). If this is not possible, then we will do it after the on-going Guild War Season has ended (week 38 or later).

As a compensation, we will be having reduced healing for Guild Wars injuries from Tuesday August 23rd 7.30 AM UTC to Monday August 29th 7.30 AM UTC (depending on the roll back, we may revisit this later). Any losses in attacks due to ongoing issues may be reported to support, who will look into potential lost RP's and resources.

I play in a guild where we don't have to be micromanaged and we all have a general idea of each other's abilities and which areas of the map we work.
We were very confused yesterday why we lost attacks with this blue dot issue. That can make the difference between being able to finish a sector or putting up a perfect score, which is needed against the top guilds.
We stacked a four player KAW today which I was the last one in, and I saw no indication anyone else was in it beforehand.
Finally figured it out today after reading the forums but we have lost several attacks in the past two battles and completely spoiled our ability to close all sectors. There should have been an in-game announcement so players could have been aware of this. It seems sneaky that NG hasn't been transparent. It's soured me even more on how I feel about GW as well as many others.
Yes, some people have real jobs etc. and can't check in on some messaging platform every time they log in. Also managing in real time and doing math from missing attacks and making adjustments accordingly is a major headache for anyone doing coordination. Not to mention it takes quite a bit of time out of your day if you need to wait for sections to be opened

There has been a constant “fix something” but something that wasn’t broken before now doesn’t work.
I’m afraid to ask that they fix the refresh issues for those not in the battle—who knows what they’d break if they tried!
The #1 bug:
It happens now when someone loses a sword in any given mission - then it shows this mission as active blue dot 🔵, even for the person who lost it. Even though they are out of this mission.
The #2 bug:
It happens after a certain time of inactivity. Reinstalling doesn't work. You need to force-close and restart the app to see all "Missions" tab options again. This bug has been there for at least several months now (during active GW only).
It's annoying though.

Appreciate your respond. Is there somewhere NG give clarifying information. There should be. Without all the great help from dedicated, helpful, generous players , there would probably be less people continuing to play.
In the event of timeout or disconnect, force close the game and then reload the game from the app icon.

Zee Black - SG Woots - Playing since 2015.
The biggest point of frustration has been a missing 🔵 Blue Dot indicator.
Would be great to get it fixed sooner rather than later.
