Guild Wars Season 17 Final Results

Congratulations to BB and WW for the first tied win of Guild Wars, season 17. Both guilds managed the "impossible" and played a perfect season with max points and not a single red gas or loss.  Sweden, who was also racing for the win could not keep it up to the finish line and dropped to #9 after a bad last week. Ad Hoc and Mavs NWO also went undefeated and took spots 3 and 4. Mavs guild famly kept up their strong game and once again had guild NWO beat the OG guild, which placed #6 so a really strong performance of the guild family.

The standings have been corrected for BB and BB2 as a bug caused BB to get more than max points in the last battle (they played BB2 who lost the battle that should have ended in a draw).

    This was also the first time we got a tie for the win.

    I think we are now at the point where we desperately need for GW to become harder. Unlike the challenge, there is no in-game reward in winning Guild Wars, so NG needs to do something to make sure that only one guild wins GW. Please, @Lexia

    Also, NG really should be able to give swords and adjust the VP:s of guilds that encounter bugs.

    Please please please, bring on the new Commonwealth walkers in force in the next GW season.

    let us not have the fiasco of this season with a draw for the win. Or, looking at the in-game leaderboard, a guild exploiting a bug taking home the season.

    What about the guild Formosa 台灣?
    We ran into bugs twice this season, so we don't have full marks
    So we're tied for first too?

    A lot of guilds, once again, had bugs so it’s unfortunately not possible to adjust for that.

    Anyway, this whole thing could be soved by NG having the ability to correct the Victory Points of guilds. Now they apparently can't change the VP:s, which is a farce in itself.

    They probably can, they just don't want to.

    It's gonna be far more controversial once they start adjusting VP.

    According to support "we´re unable to change the leaderboard ranking or the Guild's VP score". So the it sounds like they really can't change the VP:s.
