Carl’s NearlyEye Pistol

Can we have a chat about the infused Carl’s Deadeye Pistol from the new GW shop? It’s one trait away from being the perfect PvP weapon for shooters (and also a brilliant weapon for defenders) but without that one trait changed it ends up middling into a confused gun with no real clear use or function. Range matters for PvP, and gold High Powered would make all the difference here. Whereas Ensnare on a PvP weapon seems of little consequence when Interrupt is already in the weapon.

But if this was for PvZs then Ensnare without Piercing doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Assault and hunter weapons? Yes! The Harrier is a fantastic example of this. But for single target weapons it doesn’t stack up to be worthwhile.
The coveted and highly anticipated spot in the GW shop of the high end infused weapon is something the whole community looks forward to and in recent shops you’ve been smashing it. The very least anyone could say about Dale’s Rifle, ROAR, Saviour Handgun and Harrier is that they’re very, very good weapons. Carl’s Deadeye Pistol is one trait away from that tier but as it is, kinda seems more like a collector’s item?
It’s not too late to change it. If there’s enough support from the community will you guys consider swapping Gold Ensnare for Gold High Powered?

2 things wrong in this picture:
1. Ensnare on non-piercing pistol. It's OK last time around on the Harrier because it's also got cripple (i.e., it cripples on normal attack, chance of ensnare or CA on charged attack). But it doesn't make much sense here.
2. I do mind the silencer. Why put a silencer on a non silent pistol?
Mahoosive silencer on a non silenced weapon is just.. well wrong
The weapon as it stands makes no sense, please change to Gold High Powered
Go on , please. i have never asked for anything before.. it is Christmas after all
I agree though, ideally Ensnare should be with Piercing (which is something I asked for in the wishlist
This was my thought as well regarding pvp. You don't need/want piercing for PVP. There's no point.

But the way it is right now, the ensnare is kinda useless. Without high powered it’s quite useless for PvP, and without piercing it’s absolutely useless for pvz
so nothing interesting about it

So that would mean the only thing you could afford to sacrifice (to get your High Powered) would be... Lucky?
Not willing to lose Interrupt, as it's the only thing that makes this weapon a bit different (and able to stop CW walkers).
I mean, what is everyone's plan for when a CW starts right next to you in GWs? Chuck flare every time?

So to clarify, I only ever meant High Powered as the missing trait. Get rid of Ensnare and replace it with High Powered and this becomes a very interesting shooter weapon.

BTW in real life suppressed firearms are very loud still.. just ear safe.. and even then, the big calibers still need to wear hearing protection. Only thing that is movie quiet is the 22LR.
