I'm okay with most of this, except the 10 to search. Most outposts have less than 50 resources in them, and I'm still getting matched against players way more powerful than I am. If I search more than twice, I'm actually LOOSING resources by raiding, because that makes sense as a "game balance" mechanic. *Facepalm*
My observations from the Gold Crate for the 500 Trade Goods is that they are 1 or 2 steps below the levels of rewards I get from my level 13 exploratory/deadly missions.
My rewards from 16x the 500 Trade Goods Golden Crate were as follows: 17,000 Food (x1) 17,500 Food (x2) 18,000 XP (x2) 18,500 XP (x3) 19,000 XP (x1) Level 14 Gear, 3 Stars (x2) Level 15 Gear, 3 Stars (x5)
In my Level 13 Deadly/Exploratory Missions, this is what I get in Gold Crates after a mission: 26,500 Food (x2) 26,500 XP (x1) Level 16 Gear, 3 Stars (x4) Level 16 Gear, 4 Stars (x1) Level 16 Gear, 5 Stars (x1) Level 17 Gear, 3 Stars (x4) Level 17 Gear, 4 Stars (x1) Level 18 Gear, 2 Stars (x2) Level 18 Gear, 3 Stars (x3)
Clearly the rewards are not the same as what I get in Exploratory/Deadly missions. It's a nice boost in food when you can get it, but the equipment doesn't seem like it has quite the potential I'm looking for...but it's a really small sample size! But I may just save for the 7500 TG Legendary Equipment since I got a level 16 Legendary the 1st time, so at least that equipment is potentially useable.
@PimpOfTheDead legendary trade good crates give random legendary equipment, you can't choose what class or traits.
Nothing sadder than saving up to 7500 and getting a legendary weapon with crap traits. twice I've gotten legendary level 17 warrior weapons, only one of them with wide arc but it's the first trait so it's only 90 degrees, the other one has no wide arc at all so I suppose I'll have to scrap that. ;(
Ya thought so & y I don't get legendary crates prob just a typo the guy above me saying we can lol haven't got 1 in awhile so wasn't sure if it was changed but it should be
I love this game since the beggining, but the way NG are changing things here (sometimes without telling us) remembers me when i hosted my own Tibia OTServer a decade ago (i was reckless with the balance all the time, trying yo figure it out without making calculations). Guys, all the changes made are amateur alike. This cant be serious, they are a company... I just dont see any reason to play outposts anymore until they fix this mess.
Every multiplayer game need to evolve. It's impossible to create a perfect game. It's impossible to guess who will like it or not. I will mention Diablo 3 as a perfect example. Every new patch changing balance in class. Some ppl like it some doesn't but that the way it is. Game need evolve to suit developer and players desire. It isn't easy way
Overall it's “funny” what I always get. From golden boxes in challenge, missions or explore almost only armors. I have changed now 6 times 7500 boxes. All 6 rewards were armors!?! Other members of my guild getting mostly weapons, I almost only the armors?!?

That's why I chose 2 epic crates instead of 1 legedary crate. 1st the prize is cheaper (2x3500 vs 1x7500) 2nd I always got useable cloths AND weapons 3rd the epic crate is a epic minimum BUT the item could be legenday too 4th with the rest of 500 i could buy a gold crate to get some xp or tomatoes
I farm enough that I get a good balance of armor & weapons from exploration mission golden crates that the costs are horendous but by the time I finish upgrading 1, I usually get another good epic or legendary weapon or armor to work on but not always for the survivors I'm hoping for lol, but in time they come around & I got enough gear there's no point in forcing it. But the cost in trade goods for a legendary item that u may not be able to use seem not worth it & since I don't really raid I think it's more worthwhile to dump all tg into the walker pit as you're only going to be able to upgrade a few walker types per challenge depending on the lvl you're at & how many solo or alliance tg u get per challenge but seems like a waste to use tg on gear unless pit is maxed
even if u do get the legendary gear, there is still the possibility of getting terrible traits which is why id rather buy the desired gear from bundles rather than farm 7500 TG to get some random gear.

Understood but not everyone that plays this game has deep pockets. I would have loved to get that Rick pack but couldn't afford it so will have to continue to try for pulls to get a decent gun. I'm hoping to be able to have some extra funds set aside if they do a bungle that includes a hunter/assault weapon though and was really pleased with the Jesus pack that I did purchase.
Back to the subject of the thread. I'm liking the recent fixes to the outpost game system and hope that Next Games can get the entire game running smoothly for us soon.
@DarkFae .. There is a Hunter/Assault package, I just purchased the Hunter & got a Legendary Rifle (sadly lost in rollback) but they are $20 bundles.. Abit expensive, yes, but I couldn't resist lol

@DarkFae That's why the game needs a trading post or something like that. I have so many awesome pistols that I'll never earn enough xp to upgrade all of them legendary from 12 to 15 and rates at lvl 16 and an uncommon 17 and a few epics scattered. I'd like to trade for a legendary assault rifle etc etc.
We need More XP, mos def after a survivor weekend.

Structurally, More XPs/TG and make gas free....there is so many cool features in the game now, but the economy engine is most definitely underpowered. There are not enough chances to earn TG and XP through missions so people get bored with the games upgrade speed and more importantly, with such low economy, the raids dont work because there is such low amounts of TG floating in the system. This is CORE to why the new features havent been taking off.
@theRealBender you'll find that buying they 500 crates is way more beneficial. You receive radio's, gold, cp, supplies and gear. I'll never save 7,500 again, waste of time
Simple... Because the laws of probability and statistics show you that, all else being equal, you have greater chance of getting what you want when you limit the number of possible outcomes/alternatives.

Why would anyone be happier spending 1500/3500 TG for gear that they might get lucky to pull from a crate they spend 500 TG on?

Since the Rick pack was outside my budget atm I'm afraid those are too but it's nice to know they are out there
