Outpost Suggestion:- Raid your own base for Training/Testing

As a programmer I know it is a lot of effort to implement the freqently requested watchable replays of outpost attacks. But i know that the following idea can be easily implemented.

In order to develop the best possible outpost defense, we need some feedback on our own defense strategy. So I had the idea that you could allow us to attack our own outpost and the outposts of our guild members in a training mode. This mode should not influence any supplies or goods, which means it should not cost any Trade Goods or Gas to perform a training attack, it should not transfer any Trade Goods or Influence Points, you don't gain XP, and most important: All attack injuries are fake (as they use paint balls, rubber melee weapons and toothless walkers) and do not require to be healed in the hospital.

    It's all well and good designing your base on paper with the tools provided but let us raid our own base to see if what put down actually works.

    Obviously no rewards or cost or injury for doing it but just to see if our plans work.

    In current situation it could make more problems like bugs/exploits :D But idea itself is nice :)

    or at least allow you to watch a replay of when someone attacks you to see how your guys did

    That sounds like a good suggestion @woodstock
    I have experienced this same sort of training style of attacking in between guilds/alliances/teams in other games in the past which would help a team gain more experience with pvp with minimum to no loss of resources.
    In saying that, the Devs have their hands full with lots of things to implement in the future but all suggestions are definitely appreciated and also taken into consideration :)

    This. Other games have this feature to help you improve placement of your defenses and see weak spots.

    No! No other raiding players game out there allows this for a reason. It will make the game a mess.

    Better to tweak the raiding and make it more viable. Or just allow players to design their own from scratch.
    When soft cap comes I quit the game.

    Your ignorance is showing. I can name one off the top of my head: Call of Duty Heroes. It doesn't make the game a mess and is in fact invaluable. As things stand, I really don't know how my base appears and operates to enemies, nor how the various options really effect my defense.

    I was just about to start a discussion about this but since it's been done before I will just revive this one.

    We need to be able to raid our own outpost for free and with no rewards and no injuries.


    Not only will this allow us to step up our defence game but will also lure us into spending more time playing the game. "Maybe instead of closing up shop for the night I'll just run a couple outpost tests and see if I can improve my defences while I wait for my gas to refill..."
