I've got 1050...don't ask me why...but at the rate we're going with events the next one is going to be Double Scout Damage and then the next one will be Special Lucille and Morgan Staff Damage Weekend...so I'm not holding my breath

Are you seriously asking about a survivor event with only 15 radios? I think you're going to need a "couple" more radios to have any kind of chance/success when the event does come around.
Remember, the survivor event is an increased chance of getting a leg/epic survivor - it's not a definite.
I don't save mine I use them as I get them but I think you are wrong I think the next event will 1/3 scout damage with a place all other survivor types in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time [...] that cost 123 gold to heal out if you try to send them on missions bonus for the entire weekend.
I never made one call yet, as I am a relatively new player, but I read up first on the radios before going headlong into spending them, so i soon figured they'd be worth saving
My current best survivors: 4* lvl 8/9 bruiser 4* lvl 8/10 hunter 2* 8/9 scout 2* 8/10 scout 2* 7/10 scout 2* 6/10 scout
I have 13 survivor slots currently, of which 3 are as yet free.
Even with the guaranteed 3* return on 15 radio calls and no added luck at all, I'll be absolutely certain to improve my team a good deal when this event finally comes round.
@MadPuppy, that Hunter is by far the best of your bunch. Unfortunately, scouts are the single most useless survivors followed by bruisers later in the game. Don't let that worry you. Every player starts the game with these two class of survivors.
Concentrate on finding good Hunters and Shooters (universally considered the two best survivor classes), followed by Warriors and Assault when those become available. You need survivors that deliver mass amounts of death and destruction from a safe distance when you reach the higher levels. No one does this like a great Hunter or Shooter. Good luck!
@SlickRick i know you said dont ask but....how the fudge do you have over 1k radios?! I hope you either pay to play a lot or you have found some glitch i dont know about , otherwise i guess im doing something wrong. Ive saved 230 radios since the last survivor event and i thought that was a lot.
@misfit44 I think the trick is just to open all 9 boxes after each mission and generally play an awful lot. That takes some gold but 1K radios should surely be achievable. But I'm at your level, have probably received 250 radios since last event (and wasted two-thirds already.) I rarely spend gold to open extra boxes or on gas but I do now and then.
@Morgan i dont and i know a lot of players who dont. If youre under lvl 40 you arent gonna have those survivors , and there are a lot of us still under 40.
@misfit44 that's so embarrasing! You're not maxed out at lvl 18 on all your survivors? I don't know anyone who isn't! Next thing you'll say you don't have legendary maxed/out gear for all of your survivors...
No problem I was more just joking when I said don't ask...there is no glitch...I just get a ton of radios from missions plus I buy pretty much every big radio bundle offered...and I've been saving for awhile because my team is already stacked.
