DEVS: Upgrades too expensive, too much gameplay and not enough gas

I love that this game is getting much more dynamic, but I'm starting to get frustrated. There is so much to do and so little resources to do it with. I feel like I'm getting pulled in to many directions.

Costs of upgrades: Firstly, with the latest level, I feel buried. Upgrades to the council have been coming too fast and I can't keep up. So much to upgrade, and it takes me a week to save up for 1 upgrade. By this I mean upgrades that require Supplies or XP.

Gameplay: There is way to much to collect, so what do I focus on? Do I collect stars to help my Guild? Do I collect supplies to keep buildings upgrading? Do I collect XP to build up my guys and their equipment? Do I collect Trade goods to upgrade my walkers? Now I need medals to win my cycles? What do I focus on? Oh, I forgot about the story, I need to finish those up too to get some gold. That was the whole reason I started playing anyways.

Gas: Well, based on the above I have a hard time collecting enough of anything to upgrade my stuff. I can't even grind it out to grow as I don't have enough Gas. 10 min for 1 gas is crazy. 23 gas at max crazy seeing as how I need 6 gas to do 1 exploration mission so I can gain approx. 20K supplies (includes chests if I am lucky enough to find supplies). Seems pretty skimpy if I need 2.5-3.5 Mil supplies for a single upgrade.

Based on the above, to upgrade my training grounds (3.5M supplies) will take about 175 exploration raids (6 gas each, so basically 1 mission per hour). So non-stop gameplay will allow me to upgrade my training grounds in 7.2 days. Yes, videos help as do the farms so I should be able to cram that into 6 days if I don't sleep. So when do I work on XP/Challenge Stars/Supplies/Medals/Story?

Suggestions for improvement:
1) reduce gas fill times;
2) increase gas storage;
3) reduce upgrade costs;
4) increase rewards from exploration missions;
5) increase amount of videos we can watch for extra chests;
6) increase reward amounts in chests;
7) allow watching a videos to get enough gas for another mission/raid.

Not all the above is needed, but consideration to all the above should be given.

The increased pressure is preventing me from enjoying the game as much as I did before. Its starting to feel more like a chore than a fun way to spend some time. Others are feeling the pressure as well.

Hopefully this gets heard and changes are made. Again, love all the new stuff, just don't forget about the old stuff.

    Game become really unbalanced for players 45+. I stopped playing in 70% of my time which I used to play. Just waiting for better times = new update.

    with amiga, i quit after this challange, balance to much and forces people to look at exploits like farming (not me personally) but that makes the game even more un balanced, the balance isnt even hard to fix but NG keep putting it off, for what was once a game with great potential, it has sadly failed to develop as it should of. and now more than ever is all about PAY to win. and anyone who drops that much cash on a game so full of bugs need their head examining, i could understand if an upgrade was about £3 a go but reality is it is a lot lot more, worrying really.

    good luck to those that wish to keep sticking with it, i leave behind an awesome guild of people, whoom i wish all the best to.

    I would hate to see this game transition into a pure pay-to-win concept, which plagues so many games...

    With that said, there's a flip-side to the coin: I'm level 52. I seem to have maxed-out everything, I think. Because I'm rich (no shame in my game). And now I'm bored. Helping Guild at least gives me some purpose to still play. Otherwise, I seem to spend more time in Forum than game. Truth is, I wish I had spent more time grinding/farming/earning things, rather than throwing around cash like Monopoly money.

    I think I might have funded the retirement-pensions of the developers....

    Don't be like me. Have fun. Enjoy. :smiley:

    Excellent evaluation and suggestions. I don't want to do the math on how long it will take me to get the supplies needed for the new council upgrade. Since before I do that I need to upgrade my remaining buildings: 3 more farm plots @ 1.5 each, both tents @ 2.12 each, workshop 2.35, mission car 1.52. THEN I can start saving for the 2.51 needed for the council. So..... maybe sometime next month I'll get around to upgrading my council. But, by then there will be another upgrade to council 18. But, before I do that I'll have to upgrade my storage supplies as my max storage won't be enough. Basically, I'm just a hamster running in my wheel to get nowhere...

    Since I'm not an experienced app game player, maybe this is how it works with most games. Do people eventually get bored with the grind and move on to the next game?
