Ok, here's the best idea to keep everyone satisfied and I'm going to give it to you free ... it'll keep both nubs and elites happy, lead to more effective play time and more people actually spending cash on the game.
What I want to see is the ability to scale quests up and down in lvl to make the zombies and rewards scale accordingly. Instead of having to slog thru lvl 1 quests I want to be able to hit +1 to scale the level up. My idea for scaling would not affect the next quest level, but just the current one, and you could 'bank' levels to scale quests back down when they get too hard, but at a 5:1 ratio, so for example instead of having to kill lvl 1 mobs for lvl 1 gear, I could scale the quest up to lvl 6, bank +5 lvls and get useful xp and gear instead of wasting my time, then when I hit the lvl 20 quests I'm having trouble with, I can 'spend' the points I've banked 5 for 1 to delevel the zombies and gear to make both useful and achievable again.
My account for ref is lvl 42 camp, lvl 17 guys. Currently pulling 200+ stars per event
While, it will be nice to have time to do other stuff, many of us are finished with all the missions even at nightmare mode, except for maybe one or two that we farm.
It would be nice to get some new story missions soon.
A few new challenges to be added to the mix would be nice as well.
One a week is fine, but doing the same six missions 20 times every month or so gets old.
Play to Slay. Slay to live another day. Daily players. On and killing walkers as often as we can.
The not so funny part about this is that level progression, experience scaling, etc etc etc has already been figured out for many years in thousands of other games ..... I have not seen new ideas on how to do this in years. But keep posting requests, ideas, and suggestions because it's a message about how broken it is and how much of a priority it is to fix for long-term success of this game.
I am very sorry to hear this. Having 2 challenges a week allowed me to earn more trade goods, as I was able to run more missions with low gas cost. Still, I understand that mine is not the majority opinion, and that many others wanted to go back to one challenge. I have been democratically outvoted.

There are some great challenge suggestions in the forum that would further improve, add entertainment, rewards, and strategy for both newbs and elders. I hope this is step one of a few more...
As far as gas, I've just always thought 10 min is excessive. 6 an hour... Whoop-dee, I can play a single 2 min mission and wait another hour... Many people mention lowering the gas cost, but it's really the gas rate that is an issue. It should have decreased duration as you upgraded your car. Based on the event you did a while back, I'd say 5min gas was much more suitable for higher levels, and 10 was perfectly fine in the beginning of the game.
@Teeceezy what will happen the currently unopened rewards? Can we keep it during and after the changes? I have many of them waiting for the appropriate time to use these TGs.

I'd prefer a start and end midweek. So people who work on weekdays have the same chance to collect stars than those who can't play on weekends. Easiest way to change it: Start and End on Monday. One hour between end and start times. No one can complain about that I think.
I think there are no further information so far. I would like to have the duration a complete week - with one hour break. But in the announcement it sait from monday to saturday like before the change to 2 challenges.

I agree we need to lower the gas rate! This is the most annoying part of the game. We need polls to lower the gas rate or at least the challenge gas cost should stay at 3 or 4. Why would the same challenge map cost more as you go through it? It's the same distance, it's just dumb.
sorry, guys, but keeping rewards unopen is unfair to Raiders like me . I think rewards should be paid as TG, plus I can't see this silly wobbling crate anymore!
Certainly you could loose TG by Raiding, but you could also raid more! It would mean more action! Less boredom! If you want to save your TG for better times, you live with the risk, risk ist part of life. But certainly: I want to play challenging missions, but I don't want to be dead when I'm getting killed. I want to keep my rewards for the next platinium Lucille we get in ... weeks. Sorry, I can't understand why everybody is so keen on safety in a game.

It might stop the huge amounts of 0/0 search results, and those who do not wish to participate in Outposts should be allowed to opt out, but if you raid others, all of your stash should be at risk including the hoarded, unopened TG!

@TheLostSlayer is right - many people would just spend it right away (myself included). This means you would STILL get 0/0 results from those players' outposts. I would prefer them to just omit 0/0 searches altogether. And if I couldn't save up TG for things that cost a lot of TG, then those parts of the game would not be played by me unless changed as well.
Any chance we get all the details today so we can discuss with our guilds?

Im with @theRealBender@TheLostSlayer and others on this. I'm not a fan of outpost and I hoard my crates so they are safe. If it was a forced action to have TG dumped into my storage, I would simply not save them and just open 500 crates instead. It'd be great if we could have clarification on this @eetu. Thank you!
Yeah, I finally tried outposts for the 1st time since I wanted to dump the free losers we got and replace them with some useful epics that I received in the radio event. I created a layout and tried 4 raids. In 3 of them the game crashed in the 1st move so I lost the gas, tg and influence. A 75% failure ratio based on a flaw in game design. That blows.I don't anticipate doing this again any time soon. I like the new survivors I got, but have no intention to run any more raids until I am sure NG has fixed things.
Difficulty progresses slower: hmmm, maybe its already way too slow. so many rounds of ineffectual walkers, useless gear and crumbs for rewards, just to get to the sweet spot where its briefly challenging and rewarding. I'll be pleased if the sweet spot lasts longer once reached though...
Rewards will scale: totally vague, no actual information there to base an opinion on. holding my breath with anticipation...

You're right regarding gas cost. Hope NG will change it a bit with one week challenge. Higher tiers just cost too much.
