At least thats how i read it
For example, if the old range of possible damaged were 1-100, the new range might be 10-90. The damage range is tightened to reduce variance.
They then increased damage by 5% overall to make up for the high end limit reduction caused by the variance reduction.

The assault is most used survivor when I do farming missions and outpost raids.
Thanks NG, and I'm extremely happy that this game is going into right direction.
If the original were in fact 60%max damage to 100% max damage, the new values would be 68%-100% in your model.
That is at least my reading of it. I've played games where you could upgrade weapons to reduce variance before. this results in higher damage per unit of time, but doesn't necessarily increase individual attacks.

We may see more outposts with 3 bruisers guarding outposts after this 1.9 update. It looks like more assaults in high demand too.

I know I speak for myself and a lot of other who have promoted our own hunters through playing and some have spent a lot of money to do so. Now you change the goal posts. Players will no doubt upgrade the new survivor class.
This isn't a change its daylight robbery by NG on its database of players.,
People have paid for something and you have changed the way and what they paid for, there is no other way of looking at it. You are thieves and morally corrupt.
Since when does a pistol outshoot a rifle? Can you guess what's getting downgraded next?
