The divide starts today...

....between free and paying players. IMO, the new Unlimited Gas and Double XP IAPs are priced pretty great; they are going to sell a ton of them! and I'm sure there will be many people that buy one or both of them daily or a few times a week.
Sure, you could pay gold to fill up your gas tank before or speed things up before, but the value of these IAPs seems pretty amazing for the advantage you can gain. Now, people can buy unlimited gas for $2 USD, and easily max out ther supplies if they want to play all day. The gold people were using to buy gas refills will go towards building speed ups, hospital heal times, and unlocking gold crates after missions. There will be more people with crazy challenge star counts.
This is a genius business plan by NG IMO! Sure, the free players can still compete since getting awesome equipment is still tough after missions and radio calls are the other factor that is truly important in this game, but the increased volume of chances at getting the awesome equipment will help paying players, not to mention they will be getting significantly more radios than the free players from the increased volume of crate rewards that they are opening. Not to mention the double XP IAP will help make it much cheaper to quickly level up survivors and gear.
Do I think there is anything wrong with this? Absolutely not. Like I said, I think this is a genius business move by NG, and people who pay $ should get a nice advantage; those advantages seem to have gotten a lot cheaper now!

Now NG please offer bundles for low price like Amazing One.
I'm wondering what you think - if they offered those boosters for gold and/or cash, would that be better?
I personally would invest in these bosters than the gold and bundle packs.
At the end of the day we asked for XP and Gas changes and I think they did pretty well on bringing us these options!
Probably making a video!

The fact that other players out there are paying tons of money and finding/upgrading better gear and survivors than me has zero impact on my own game. I would change my tune if we had to enter an arena and go full PvP in a death match. I am NOT a Ftp, btw, more of a moderate Ptp
@GreenBalloon -- I really agree with your point about the reduced gas times for free players; I've been a big supporter of the idea that the Mission Car should work like the Hospital: every upgrade to the Mission Car reduces the Gas Refill Time. I would love it to max (or minimize) at 5 minutes, but any reduction would be welcomed. I want to play your game a lot!

Even if I don't pay for special things, if other people pay more for special things... This is likely to give NG more incentive to develop more game content (gear, survivors classes, walker types, ideas like outposts, PvP?, mission story line, etc).
Doesn't that mean F2P players also win (something) when P2P players spend more money?
Yes, Ftp players have been given the option to buy boosters, gold, etc but, in real life, that isn't always a possibility. Some people have a budget that varies from zero to non-existent for activities like this.
Having available income provides an advantage. True here and in other parts of life.
Any guess who might " now " be on my list, ( in 2017 )
And also the game has a limit on it, and unless NG start pumping out new Council and content each month, those ptp players are just going to hit that cap again.
The game is plenty enjoyable without spending money, and the vast majority of players don't spend much at all, if anything. The only people who care about this stuff are the people who want to progress faster than the game's structure allows. That structure has been significantly sped up since launch also.

The bundles are not necessary to play the game, do well in the game, or to enjoy the game. So, if you want to keep up with the people willing to pay money to progress faster - that's your own personal issue. You wanting to keep up with others who are willing to pay is not a game issue.

"Give your service away for free, possibly ad supported but maybe not, acquire a lot of customers very efficiently through word of mouth, referral networks, organic search marketing, etc., then offer premium priced value added services or an enhanced version of your service to your customer base."
NG is a business. Business's try to make money. I think the $2/$3 new offerings are great. I hope they don't up the price. People who are never going to spend still won't. This game has alliances but most features of the game are individual based (except it seems end game) and these cheap packages offer something for old and new players.
I personally think it's great. I would spend $10 a month buying gold. Now I'll just buy the unlimited gas once a week.

If you compare this game to other games...it´s a pot of gold.
It´s a huge difference if you pay once (and complete) for a game, or you get your benefits out of continously payments from more then 100.000 players which are addicted in evolving
But yes...I´m addicted too

When I spend money, it's like, when I was in High School, I use to ride a little Moped...
It was great fun... Till my friends saw me...
When I was in High School I use to hump a lovely fat girl... It was fun, till my friends saw me...
Spending money on this game is fun, till I think about it...
Some people on this Board frustrate me to the point of not wanting to spend any more money...
( you know who you are... Sigh... )

Others get their fun in other ways and enjoy the game while spending money on it. That's my choice, and I asked for better deals. This is a really good deal, and it enhances my enjoyment of the game.
The game hasn't changed for the worse for you, you can still play it and the game mechanics haven't changed so much that it's a 'different' game that before. The game is still fun, is it not? How does other people paying a few bucks to increase their own rate of progress significantly affecting your gameplay?
Nextgames gets to make their money, which is the entire reason why they made the game, and you get to play for free because of those people willing to pay for additional benefit. Seems like you're getting a pretty good deal.
