You're right, I wasn't there. I'm just speculating that the reason is the same as a similar situation that occurs with fatties. FYI, bruisers stun was nerfed so they don't stun on body shots. If they didn't body shot you, they still stun like they used to.

My guess is this is the same as the 2 turn stuns fatties sometimes give. It occurs only when you get stunned on your turn by a bruiser with the concussion trait on his weapon (or by a fatty when you try and move past them and they get a free attack). Agreed, this is related to the heal time event. Light injuries require no heal time, but still are enough to make you lose a star. If you ever see bruised above your head in a mission, you've lost a star. Pretty sure I had the same thing happen.

Challenge stars have only been going down for the last 2 challenges. Nothing new has been added. If they don't fix it soon, all guilds will be tied at zero.

The lower gas costs are nice, but with so little time for each challenge you really need to use most of your available gas to max out a challenge without having to pay. The herd was my favorite. 1 minute gas just made me feel burned out on the game. Increased epic and legendary survivor drop rates is great also and hopefully will continue to occur every month or so.

It's not that important. Most of your experience comes from the boxes at the end. If you have extra time to play though, it can give you a little bonus exp.

I like the prison best because with the current level caps there is a hard end point. The other challenges all have at least one map where you can keep beating it as long as you have gas to proceed (making them pay to win potentially).

I've noticed an increase in gold cards on non-deadly missions. Maybe I'll give deadly a try again. I have noticed a tremendous decrease in the ability to watch ads for extra attempts. I normally get 4 ads every 8 hours or so. Currently getting 1.
