@Shteevie just wanted to let you know how much fun it was to use Negan and his goons to fight the Free Men in Boombox - Hard. Talk about poetic justice. It's probably too late, but Free Men would be a nice addition to the 8th episode.

My experience with hero calls during Maggie week was about 50% heroes, mostly 10 token Maggie's but one 32 Maggie and one 8 Glenn. Hope that helps.

Maybe I'm weird but I like the challenge of protecting that little waif citizen. There isn't another level like it. Rick & gang had to protect Alexandria. We get a tiny doll.

@Haiyan I agree, this game is better when you can't predict everything. Especially when it's the B or C team at risk, then your scavenging and raiding team can keep playing.
-
Maggie is good for farming but unless your Maggie is very advanced, a strong shooter will get you much farther on raids and challenges. If you don't like the traits of the shooter, 128 shooter tokens are a better deal and worth 3200 TGs more than 32 Maggie tokens.

@NCDawgFan the bruiser class is relatively better since gold interrupt was nerfed. But I agree that Eugene would be a weirdly intriguing hero.

Morgan's staff with a bruiser against the fence is very effective in Through the Wire, too. All the stunned armor become a blockade that allows shooters to pick off fatties. In football it would be an offensive line.

That's a good point. How did the Freemen get so strong? If they can scavenge performance boosters, then maybe that explains why some weeks one or other groups of survivors are especially powerful - i.e., scout week, etc. So, what if our survivors could find their own performance boosters, and we could occasionally choose…

Be careful what you wish for! Let's say to make it realistic, you can't use survivors who are on the scavenging team - they're away. The survivors in the outpost are busy fighting off raiders. So you defend a breach with your B or C team, who weren't necessarily carrying firearms in their pajamas. And the walkers or…

It used to be that both weapons and survivors had max levels. Now that survivors and heroes can be upgraded as high as the training grounds allow, the best overall strategy seems to be to increase survivor level as much as possible while equipping with the best gear you can get with the least amount of money. Then maximize…

I finally sprung for a Morgan's staff. After being the butt end of a million Morgan's staff outpost defenders (that really hurts!) I can confirm that the new Morgan's staff is as fun to play with as you might guess, and yes, its arc is 3-wide.
